Job Description
For this position, with one of the world's largest software companies, you will be assisting with a variety of software quality assurance activities in a lab environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Writing test cases
- Running test automation scripts, modifying them as necessary
- Analyzing test results and adjusting test cases, accordingly
- Providing bug prevention / proactive testing by participating in product specification reviews
Required skills and expertise
- 1+ year related work experience
- In-depth knowledge of, and experience in, software testing principles
- Proficiency with HTML and scripting (JavaScript or VBScript)
- Familiarity with C and/or C++
- Working knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP), hardware, debugging, and operating systems
- Basic exposure to hardware testing
- Ability to install hardware devices and operating systems in a lab environment
Nice to have (but NOT required)
- Knowledge of WTT (test management system )
- BS in CS or related field
