Job Description
Your primary focus for this position, with a world-renowned software company, will be on the packaging of hotfixes for our leading line of operating system products.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshooting / resolving production and build issues
- Coordinating / collaborating with developers, testers, release managers, and localization teams
- Prioritizing daily workflows and demands on quality, time, and resources
- Handling quality assurance for internal build processes
- Assisting with test vase development
- Performing test passes during our internal development cycles
Required skills and expertise
In-depth knowledge of Windows server OS 2008, 2012, 2016 and preferably familiar with Ubuntu 20.04
Knowledge of compilers and debugging techniques
Experience writing automated scripts in shell script, C++ / C#, or Java
Excellent communication and teaming skills
Nice to have (but NOT required):
- Experience with build engineering or configuration management
- BS in CS or related field
