Copywriter for SaaS

Job Description

We're a startup providing small businesses with client onboarding software and we're looking to hire a world-class writer and Lead Copywriter. You’ll be writing content, editing key materials and helping build a system to make our startup brand and voice one of its key differentiators for small businesses around the world.

The role

The Lead Copywriter will be responsible for defining and implementing a content strategy and writing content to attract traffic on our website.

What you will do

1. Develop a content strategy that drives traffic

2. Draft new content on our channels (e.g. newsletters, new pages on the website, etc.)

3. Draft weekly content for our blog

4. Polish/edit content produced by other teams (e.g. playbooks, training materials, scripts, etc.)

5. Complete SEO research and share commendations

Required skills and expertise

You'll be the best candidate if you...

• Have catchy writing skills
• Are able to edit and turnaround a v1 draft of any document and give a polished v2 quickly
• Are able to write with clarity and succinctness and bring our startup brand voice to life
• Have experience working as a copywriter for a SaaS company and know well all the tricks to promote content, bring traffic and sustain an early-stage company growth
• You're fun to work with, you're creative and can work autonomously
