Founded in 1963, the Chinese University of Hong Kong[8] is among the oldest universities in China. Known for the faculty in Math and Physics, the university has faculties who are themselves Noble Laureates.
Other members include Shing Tung Yau, winner of fields Veblen Prize and Fields Medal and Andrew Yao, computational theorist. The university has 61 departments divided between 8 faculties that include Science, Arts, Engineering, Education, Business Administration, Medicine, Social Science and Law.
The institute offers 117 graduates and 247 post-graduates programs.
