11 Reasons You’re Not Hired and How to Fix Them

1- Passive Participation, not Active

Employees want to hire employees who work actively, not passively in the background like you might have been in previous applications. They want to see that you’re extremely interested in the position and want it over the other candidates. The more proactive you mold your personality to become, the better.

A simple action you do might make the difference between getting hired and getting rejected. For instance, you should follow up after every interview you have, pursue any leads as actively as you can, and strategize your career search. You can’t expect to get hired by just applying and never interacting with the position again. Be sure to know your desired salary, benefits, duties, and what you’re willing to adjust. Set a little time every day to apply for more jobs and to reflect and refine your application. That time will pay off in dividends.
